>Japanese visiting new year’s day

Japanese go to shrine or temple at new year’s day. Almost Japanese including me are not religious in usual days, then we don’t care to select to go Shinto’s shrine or Buddhism temple.
I went to Shinto’s shrine, Omiya Hachimangu, which is one of the largest shrine at west Tokyo area.

Shinto is Japanese most major religion. Emperor of Japan is the most important Shinto’s priest to pray Japanese peaceful days.
